Aria, Cayden(ce) and a Swing is a two-movement composition for four timpani. Aria is a slow, lyrical movement with a simple melody involving multiple tuning changes throughout and meant to convey the peace and tranquility of a lullaby. Cayden(ce) and a Swing begins with a military style march that segues into some rudimental style drumming. This composition is perfect for both advanced high school and college recitals and performances.

Aria, Cayden(ce) and a Swing is a two-movement composition for four timpani. Aria is a slow, lyrical movement with a simple melody involving multiple tuning changes throughout. The idea is meant to convey the peace and tranquility of a lullaby. Cayden(ce) and a Swingbegins with a military style march that segues into some rudimental style drumming. As the military march concludes, the swing section emerges, utilizing different playing areas, metric modulation, and tuning changes to bring the movement back to the opening military style march. This composition is perfect for both advanced high school and college recitals and performances.
